Project references

Delivering over a decade of operational success with reference facilities with whole value chain integration from waste feedstock to product at commercial scale.

Since 1926, 40 Winkler gasifiers have been built, 7 of which utilize the HTW® technology. The most notable references built after 1970 are listed below.

Timeline of the HTW® technology

1970's
  • 1970 -

Rheinbraun and Thyssen-Krupp developed the pressurized version of the gasifier known as the High Temperature Winkler (HTW®) process.

    2024 -

Improved to current technological and environmental standards.

Implemented advanced design for feeding line, BOP, dust removal system & raw gas cooling system.

Higher operational efficiency, optimum heat integration and reduced emissions.

Adapted with 100% non-recycables as feedstock.
